The VIRAX GAS LEAK DETECTOR Ref. 262080 is a compact and robust device, designed to check the tightness of gas installations supplied at a pressure below 50 mbar. It can be easily transported thanks to its included storage case and modern design. The controller's automatic pressure limiter prevents any risk of error.

This detector comes with a complete set of accessories, including a flexible hose, a 1/2 G female stove fitting, a 7/8 G male meter outlet fitting, a 20/150 male propane fitting, a box of seals, an AA/LR6 battery, and a storage case.

Instructions for use

• Close the terminal shut-off devices and open the intermediate devices
• Screw the appropriate fitting onto the circuit
• Connect the detector and its flexible hose, hand-tighten the knurled parts
• Press the button until reaching the service pressure
• Fine-tune the pressure by slightly loosening the knurled part of the flexible hose
• Stabilization: 10 minutes for butane/propane
• Overlay the red index on the pressure gauge needle and wait 10 minutes

Observations

• Not recommended for network gas according to stabilization time
• If a pressure drop is observed, use the VIRAX leak detector Ref. 262630 to locate the leak
