Functionality:

Liquid stripper formulated for the preparation of zinc- or copper-basedmetals and alloys (except aluminum) prior to tin soldering:

• Sealing joints in construction, between masonry and joinery and under wood, metal or PVC supports.
• Watertight joints inside and outside buildings.
• Treatment of vertical cracks.
• Caulking around windows.
• Finishing joints for walls, partitions and skirting boards.
• Ceiling joints and around shutter forms.

Application:

Preparation:

• The edges of the joint must be sound (may need to be levelled) and generally free of dust and grease for smooth surfaces.

Instructions for use:

• Caulking work must be carried out in compliance with DTU 44.1 / standard NFP85 210-1.
• For joints that are too deep, limit the depth with a joint filler.
• Cut the end of the nozzle to a diameter slightly smaller than that of the joint.
• Apply the mastic with a cartridge gun, taking care to squeeze the mastic onto the edges of the joint.
• Immediately smooth the mastic with a spatula to obtain a good aesthetic finish for the joint.
• It is recommended not to apply the mastic at temperatures below + 5°C, nor under the rain.

Consumption :

Depending on joint dimensions and application, a 310 ml cartridge will produce a joint of approximately one length (joint length is expressed in meters)

Cleaning of equipment :

• Clean equipment with water before the sealant dries.

Storage :

• Store at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
• At 20°C, the product will keep for 18 months in its original closed packaging.
• Prolonged storage at higher temperatures or in freezing conditions may, in some cases, alter the product's finalcharacteristics .

Observations :

• After a few minutes at 20°C, a film forms on the surface of the sealant, protecting it from rain ( although it is advisable to protect the joint from driving rain).
• Do not use for joints in permanent contact with water (e.g. underwater).
• Do not use for horizontal joints at ground level or on flat roofs.
• For joints on steel sheet subjected to significant movement or for active cracks, we recommend using the building silicone or polyurethane mastic in our range.
