The Onyx Rust Remover is designed to remove rust from steel and iron or to protect metal.

The ONYX Rust Remover removes rust from metals (steel, iron) and can remove rust stains from wood and tiles. The ONYX Rust Remover also tackles oxidation stains on copper and brass. Based on phosphoric acid, the ONYX Rust Remover passivates the treated surface to prevent rust from returning. Contains 37.5% phosphoric acid.

Before use, read the label and product information.
To remove rust from steel and iron:

Use diluted: 1 to 5 volumes of ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 volumes of water.
Prepare the surfaces to be treated by brushing the rusted areas. Apply the prepared solution according to the dosage indicated above with a brush or soak. Leave for 30 minutes while monitoring, then rinse thoroughly with water to stop the product's action. After drying, wipe with a cloth soaked in ONYX vaseline oil to protect the metal from moisture.
To remove rust stains from wood and tiles:

Use diluted: 1 volume of ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 volumes of water.
Apply the prepared solution with a cloth according to the dosage indicated above. Rub until the stain is removed, then rinse thoroughly with water. Be careful, tile joints may whiten with this treatment.
To remove oxidation stains on copper and brass:

Use diluted: 1 volume of ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 volumes of water.
Apply the prepared solution with a cloth according to the dosage indicated above. Rub until the stain is removed, then rinse thoroughly with water. Dry with a cloth.
In all cases, perform a preliminary test on a less visible area to check compatibility with the surface.
Do not dispose of residues in the sewer or natural environment.
Always dilute the rust remover in water, never the reverse.
