Onyx rust remover is designed to remove rust from steel and iron, or to protect metal.

ONYX Rust Remover removes rust from metals (steel, iron) and removes rust stains from wood and tiles. ONYX Rust Remover also removes oxidation stains from copper and brass. Based in particular on phosphoric acid, ONYX Rust Remover passivates the treated surface to prevent rust from returning. Based on 37.5% phosphoric acid%.

Read the label and product information before use.
For derusting steel and iron:

Use diluted: 1 to 5 parts ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 parts water.
Prepare surfaces to be treated by brushing rusted areas. Apply the prepared solution according to the dosage indicated above, using a brush or a dip. Leave to act for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water to stop the product's action. After drying, wipe with a cloth soaked in ONYX vaseline oil to protect the metal from humidity.
For removing rust stains from wood and tiles:

Use diluted: 1 part ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 parts water.
Apply the prepared solution to the cloth according to the dosage indicated above. Rub until the stain is removed, then rinse thoroughly with water. Caution: tile grouting may whiten with this treatment.
For removing oxidation stains on copper and brass:

Use diluted: 1 part ONYX rust remover diluted in 10 parts water.
Apply the prepared solution to the cloth according to the dosage indicated above. Rub until the stain is removed, then rinse thoroughly with water. Dry with a cloth.
In all cases, carry out a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area to check compatibility with the substrate.
Do not dispose of residues down the drain or in the natural environment.
Always dilute rust remover with water, never vice versa.
