Estimation of useful power based on your volume/surface:
| Room surface | Approximate volume in m3 | Radiator power in W |
|---|---|---|
| Less than 10 m2 | 25 m3 | 750 W |
| From 10 to 15 m2 | 35 m3 | 1,000 W |
| From 15 to 25 m2 | 50 m3 | 1,500 W |
| More than 25 m2 | > 55 m3 | 2,000 W or more depending on the surface |
Example: for a 25m² room with standard height (2000W), you need:

OSCAR the superior quality radiator, technically avant-garde designed and manufactured according to a special welding process, die-cast and extruded aluminum, never used by other aluminum radiator manufacturers. OSCAR true central heating radiator for maximum comfort and power. The reliability and quality of the OSCAR radiator is guaranteed by the significant thickness of the water conduit walls. Double anaphoresis bath painting and then with epoxy-polyester powder.
• OSCAR radiators are intended for use in central hot water heating installations up to 110° C and at a pressure of 600 K Pascal - 6 Bar.
• The installation pipes can be made of steel, copper, or plastic.
• For proper installation operation, we recommend respecting the following distances:
≥ cm. 3 distance from the wall
≥ cm. 10 distance from the floor
≥ cm. 10 distance from the shelf or niche
• Use only the O-rings (art. 24) delivered with the plugs and reducers (art. 5 and 6). You can also use our complete kits (art. 44, 47, and 49).
• To assemble several elements together, use the nipples 1 of 30 mm. (art. 23) and the O-rings (art. 24).
• To protect the installation, we recommend checking the water pH (which should be between 6.5 and 8) and introducing, if necessary, a passivating inhibitor such as Cillit-HS 23 Combi or similar 1 liter per 200 liters of water circulating in the installation and purging the air at high temperature/water 90° C at startup.
• We recommend installing an automatic or manual air vent on each radiator.
• As a precaution, avoid completely closing the radiator taps to eliminate all kinds of excess pressure. If you want to exclude one or more batteries from the operation of the entire heating circuit, you can do so, but it is imperative that each of these batteries is equipped with an automatic vent.
• For heights from 900 to 2000 mm, if the connection is made at 2 points at the bottom, place a plug (art. 22) between the first and second element to ensure maximum radiator efficiency.
CONDITIONS FOR THE VALIDITY OF THERMAL POWER
Thermal powers are to be used as is without increase.
They are valid for normally installed radiators and in particular:
• supplied at 2 points, water inlet at the top, and water outlet at the bottom either staggered or on the same side depending on the length and height of the radiator;
• bare: or without other accessories than those mounted during tests, that is to say without shelves, grilles, coverings that may disturb the free circulation of air;
• installed according to our instructions. In the case of using a device supplying at a single point, the thermal power is not guaranteed.
In the case of using low temperature or significant temperature drops inside the radiators, it is necessary to calculate the ?T by the logarithmic method.
