The bladder tank allows water to be stored under pressure It is mounted, alone or in batteries, on the pump discharge, either directly or at a distance from it. Operating limits : 8 or 10 bars depending on the model (a valve must be provided to protect the tank against accidental overpressure). Operating temperatures : - 10 °C + 90 °C (food grade butyl bladder). In the case of high-rise buildings requiring a high initial pressure, the bladder tanks should be placed on the upper floors in order to store the water at a pressure not exceeding 8 or 10 bars.

Advantages of the bladder tank The water is only in contact with the bladder. The bladder pressure vessel is therefore suitable for all types of water, even aggressive or hard water. The bladder is easily replaceable. The bladder is made of food grade butyl. The useful capacity of the bladder tank is much greater than that of the classic hydrophore tank, which means it takes up less space. No need for air renewal. Economical installation and quick assembly. Limited maintenance and monitoring. Possibility of mounting the pump and accessories directly on the bladder tank, for horizontal models from 20 to 300 litres.

Manufacturing The bladder is moulded in one piece and fixed to the inside of the 100 to 1,000 litre tanks by a top holding piece, the hole of which can be used to fit a valve or a pressure switch and at the bottom, between flanges. It works longitudinally and can therefore neither rub nor bend, resulting in a long service life. The thickness and quality of the sheet metal as well as the electronically controlled resistance welding give every guarantee of solidity. V-KI version fitted with a stainless steel kit, consisting of a counter-flange and a bladder holder in AISI 304 stainless steel. Pre-inflation: 2 bars. The tanks are pre-inflated in the factory to 2 bars. In general, the inflation pressure of the tank must be slightly below the switch-on pressure of the contactor (about 200grams).
