BEFORE USE:
Conditions of implementation
The ambient temperature, as well as the temperature of the adhesive and the materials to be bonded, must not be lower than +5°C.
Pre-treatment of surfaces
Surfaces must be clean and free of dust and grease. The substrate must be firm. The surface may be slightly damp. Priming is not necessary.
Tools
Putty gun and rubber hammer.
DURING USE:
Instructions for use
- GLUE/ASSEMBLY: Cut the thread, mount the nozzle and cut it to a diameter of at least 0.5 mm. Depending on the weight of the material, apply the adhesive evenly in vertical strips or dots at intervals of 10 to 40 cm. Always apply adhesive in the corners and along the edges. Push the materials together and join them by pressing or tapping them firmly. It is always possible to correct. Fasteners or supports may be required for heavy materials. Close the cartridge properly immediately after use.
- TIGHTEN: Cut the thread, mount the nozzle and cut it at an angle to the desired joint width. Apply sealant to the bottom of the joint and smooth it out within 10 minutes using your wet finger (water with non-lemon dishwashing liquid), a putty knife or a sealant smoother. Smooth the vertical joints from the bottom to the top. Close the cartridge properly immediately after use.
Points of attention
- The drying times mentioned are based on gluing at least one porous material and a layer of adhesive about 1 mm thick. If two non-porous materials or a thicker adhesive layer is used, the drying times will be much longer.
- Avoid direct and long-term exposure to UV light (e.g. outdoor sealing)
AFTER USE:
Stains/Residue
Fresh stains should be removed immediately with turpentine. Dried putty residues can only be removed mechanically.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place in a tightly closed package at a temperature between +5 °C and +25 °C.
