APPROPRIATE

• For welding all metals (except aluminium and its alloys) in almost all fields of application. For use in combination with all types of solid tin solder.

• Soldering iron or torch
• Soft soldering filler metal
• Abrasive fiber
• Pipe cutter
• Brush
• Trimmer
• Heat shield
• Cloth

Instructions for use

• 1. Sand and clean the surfaces to be connected properly (metallic sheen) using abrasive fibre.
• 2. Apply the flux evenly with the brush to both surfaces to be joined. Avoid using too much flux.
• 3. Assemble the coupling (only assemble parts that fit properly).
• Avoid overheating the flux (risk of poor solder flow).
• 4. Heat the joint regularly and add tin solder. Let the solder melt on the joint and not in the flame or on the soldering iron. Fill the joint completely.
• 5. Remove flux residues with water or a damp cloth.
• 6. Allow the coupling to air cool.

Points of attention

Use Bison Heat Shield to protect walls, tiles, wallpaper, paint and plaster, for example.

Stains/Residue

Remove stains immediately with water or a damp cloth.

Storage conditions

• Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
