Newport is the ultimate universal butane gas refill suitable for all refillable butane lighters and butane-powered products. Made in England with its unique crenellated cap containing eight separately molded and colored adapters and two extra hard flints for free, Newport has, over the last fifty years and more, established an excellent reputation for quality and functionality. This was reinforced by the introduction about thirty-five years ago of the Near Zero Impurity butane quality benchmark.

Introducing the NEW Newport system cap

Using the latest polymer technology, we have developed and been able to introduce a single-piece molded Newport cap retaining the same quality, versatility, and functionality as before with eight specially designed adapters but using a fully automatic manufacturing process to reduce plastic use and waste.

The reference introduced by Keen Newport Global Ltd about 35 years ago to signify the rigorous and demanding purity standard of our butane gas refills. This standard ensures the lowest scientifically possible stable impurity level to guarantee the ultimate performance of lighter and butane-powered devices.

EXTRA PURIFIED BUTANE LIGHTER REFILL NEWPORT

LIGHTER REFILLING INSTRUCTIONS - Some lighter manufacturers have used different size filling valves in their lighters. Visual inspection should allow you to establish which adapter/shape is needed. Choose the appropriate adapter if necessary and place it on the valve stem. Hold the can firmly near the top and invert and press the valve stem (with the adapter) into the lighter's filling recess. Escaping gas indicates a wrong adapter, misaligned can and lighter, or a full lighter tank. Always check lighter instructions.

Most modern lighters, kitchen torches, barbecue lighters, soldering irons, and other butane-powered household products fill directly from the valve stem without the need for an additional adapter. Always check the lighter's flame adjustment control before relighting.
