Repair tape for all rigid materials

Application:

Sealing of leaks on rigid pipes.
Consolidation of parts.

Technical Features :

Fiberglass fabric coated with water-activated polyurethane resin.
5 cm wide and 1.5 m long strip
temperature resistance: 125°C continuous.
Pressure resistance: 20 bars.
Can be painted.

Instructions for use :

Turn off the water supply if necessary.
Abrade the area to be repaired and clean it.
Prepare a container of water (water or salt water) at room temperature
Wear the gloves (latex) provided or appropriate gloves.
Open the foil pouch (once opened, the product cannot be stored).
Immerse the strip in water for 10 seconds. Squeeze the submerged roller several times to ensure that the water penetrates. Quickly roll up the tape with slight tension. Do not shift the tape more than 1 cm on either side of the repair. It is recommended to have at least 6 coats on the pipes with pressure.
Smooth the repair in the direction of the winding to remove excess water and obtain an even surface.
Wait 30 minutes before use.

Advice from the Pro:

Check that you have enough space around your repair to pass the tape (about 30 mm).
Use epoxy filler, if necessary, to fill large holes/cracks.

If the pressure cannot be cut off, you can first stop the leak with the MULTI-FUNCTION TAPE and then cover it with the REPAIR TAPE.
