The CODTHERM Male-Male Anti-Freeze Valve in 26x34 is designed to protect any closed heating network from the risk of freezing. It prevents ice formation in the circuit of a heat pump installation, thereby avoiding potential damage to the generator and piping.
It operates by draining the fluid from the circuit when the temperature reaches 3 °C. Furthermore, the presence of anti-freeze valves on the supply/return circuits makes the use of glycol unnecessary and improves the heat transfer capacity of the heat transfer fluid.
