The CODITHERM anti-freeze valve is designed to protect any closed heating network against the risk of freezing. It prevents ice formation in the circuit of a heat pump installation, thus avoiding potential damage to the generator and piping.
It operates by discharging fluid from the circuit when the temperature reaches 3 °C. Furthermore, the presence of anti-freeze valves on the supply/return circuits makes the use of glycol unnecessary and improves the heat transfer fluid's calorific power.
