Features :
Greasing and sealing of gas valves :
- Gas valves for household appliances (stoves, ovens, water heaters,...)
- Greasing of metal, glass and other valves
Implementation:
Preparation:
- Close the meter
- Bleed the system by leaving one burner open.
- Remove the valve head and clean it.
Instructions for use :For a stovetop faucet:
- Apply S6959 GREASE around the bushel without excess.
- Reassemble the head and run the valve several times to distribute the grease evenly.
- Open the meter and check that the tap is not leaking with a LEAK DETECTOR. (leak detector in aerosol)
Preparation:
- Remove the button
Instructions for use :
- Insert grease between the fixed and moving parts of the valve.
- Do not over-grease to prevent grease from entering the valve ports.
Cleaning of equipment :
- Solvent-based degreaser, water-based degreaser
- White spirit, acetone
Product benefits:
- Good resistance to temperature, ageing and chemical agents
- Suitable for combustible gases
Storage:
- Store at a temperature between +5°C and +4 0°C.
- At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 5 years
