PVC branch saddle 160x100 mm 90 degree, 38 cm long ESPINOSA reference B221S9160H

Plumbing, PVC fittings with 90° branch, 160X100

Glue-on PVC fitting for easy connection to an existing pipe.

Saddle body with the same diameter as your main pipe for better grip.

90° socket outlet (female).

Principles of a Branching Saddle :

The PVC Branch Saddle is a building connection to easily connect a evacuation tube to a main pipeline without the need to cut, dismantle or completely modify it.

Very practical for renovation work, it allows a new element (sink, WC, etc.) to be connected quickly and easily to the main network.
To install, simply drill a hole in the pipe a hole with a diameter equal to or slightly larger than the diameter of the tube to be relocated at the desired location, then clip/glue the body of the saddle by matching the hole previously made with the stitching. And that's all there is to it.

Special features of our Shaped Branch Saddles

Handcrafted by cutting, transforming, then assembling and gluing existing materials, our shaped fittings necessarily have a rougher, less polished appearance than an injected fitting. Nevertheless, their technical quality and resistance are randomly tested in our in-house laboratory at the end of production.
The saddle body:

It is carried out with a Building PVC pipe, NF standard The pipe is cut to length and trimmed where necessary. The diameter of this tube is equivalent to that of the pipe onto which it will be clipped. The elasticity of PVC will allow the pipe to spread and then regain its initial shape, recovering any slack to fit perfectly on the support surface.

We deliberately make the body longer than the actual final requirement, which guarantees you an extra surface for positioning, holding and gluing. You can, however, cut it to size if required.

On some stoolAlthough it may appear that the diameter of the body is smaller than the final diameter, in reality this is not the case: PVC is elastic and contracts naturally when cut or shaped. Once clipped into place, the PVC will return perfectly to its original diameter and fit snugly around your pipe.

Quilting:

It, too, is made with the help of a Building PVC pipe, NF standard which we thermoform to create a female socket (tulip), allowing you to easily connect your spigot tube or any male fitting (inspection plug, tee, etc.).

Once hot-positioned, the spigot is permanently welded to the body using a specially developed professional PVC adhesive that also guarantees watertightness.

When you try to position the saddle before drilling, it may sometimes appear that it doesn't completely fit into the main pipe, as if it were obstructed by a bump. This is quite normal: in fact, the saddle is sometimes positioned slightly inside the body of the saddle. saddleThis will allow gravity flow to take place. Once you've drilled your hole (preferably a little larger than the diameter of the tapping), it will penetrate the main pipe and your saddle will be perfectly in place.

Installation:

Position the saddle and mark the location of the hole to be drilled, passing through the inside of the spigot. You can also trace the edges of the saddle to help you reposition later.

Drill the hole (a little larger than the diameter initially marked out, to facilitate gravity flow). The dimensions of the saddle body give you plenty of room for manoeuvre.

Glue the inside of the saddle with a good PVC GEL glue, then replace the saddle in its final position.

That's all there is to it!
