Features :

Sanitary silicone mastic in emulsion:

• Sealing around sanitary appliances: washbasins, basins, shower trays, bathtubs, sinks, and all places where humidity could lead to the formation of moulds.
• The design of this sealant makes it compatible for application on damp substrates and the possibility of modify, grind or touch up a fresh joint with a damp sponge for a period of between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
• For applications on synthetic, acrylic or composite materials, on natural stone (marble, granite) use GEBSICONEW2.

Preparation:

• The surfaces must be dry, dust-free and free of grease.

Instructions for use :

• For joints that are too deep, limit the depth with a cellular foam (closed cell PE or PU cells). open).
• The dimensions of the joint must take into account the sealant and local regulations. Generally, the width is equal to twice the thickness.
• It is advisable to limit the width by placing adhesive tape on each side of the joint, which can be removed immediately after smoothing.
• Cut the end of the nozzle to a diameter slightly smaller than that of the joint, then apply the sealant.
• Smooth the joint within 10 minutes using the joint smoother, a spatula or a damp sponge. The time to smoothness can be increased by gently spraying a little water on the joint.
• It is advisable to let the putty dry for several hours (3 at least) before subjecting it to indirect water projections (runoff) and 48 hours for direct exposure.

The mechanical and adhesive properties of the sealant will develop gradually. Optimal results are obtained a few weeks after application.

Consumption :

• Depending on the size of the joint and the application, a 310 ml cartridge will produce a joint of length (the length of the joint is expressed in meters) :

Tips:
