Aquatex white: water cleanable silicone, 310 ml

Features:

Sanitary silicone emulsion sealant:

• Sealing around sanitary fixtures: washbasins, basins, shower trays, bathtubs, sinks, and all places where humidity could promote mold formation.
• The design of this mastic makes it compatible for application on damp substrates, as well as allowing a fresh joint to be modified, rectified or retouched with a damp sponge for between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
• For applications on synthetic, acrylic or composite materials, natural stone (marble, granite) use GEBSICONE W2.

Application :

Preparation:

• Surfaces must be dry, free of dust and grease.

Instructions for use:

• For joints that are too deep, limit depth with cellular foam (closed-cell PE or open-cellPU ).
• Joint dimensions must take account of the mastic and local regulations. Generally speaking, the width is twice the thickness.
• It is advisable to limit the width by placing adhesive tape on each side of the joint, which should be removed immediately after smoothing.
• Cut the end of the nozzle to a diameter slightly smaller than that of the joint, then apply the filler.
• Smooth the joint within 10 minutes, using the joint smoother, a spatula or a damp sponge. Smoothingtime can be increased by gently spraying a little water over the joint.
• It is advisable to allow the putty to dry for several hours (3 minimum) before subjecting it to indirect water splashes (run-off) and 48 hours for direct exposure.

The mastic's mechanical and adhesion properties will gradually develop. Optimum results are obtained a few weeks after application.

• Can be cleaned with water

Tips :

• To promote the development of adhesion on wood and concrete, the substrate can be slightly moistened before application.

Storage :

• Store at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
• The expiry date noted on the packaging is measured on unopened product, stored at 20°C under normal hygrometricconditions .

Remarks :

• Do not use for aquariums.
• Do not use for food applications.
• Do not use for submerged joints, horizontal joints on roofs or at ground level
