Implementation:

Preparation:

• The plate can be cut with a sharp tool such as a cutter.
• The plate can be slightly deformed by moistening. Be careful, however, as over-moistening may cause the plate to become deformed. This is a very important factor in the delamination of the plaque.

Instructions for use :

• Fix or glue the plate. Depending on the thermal protections and the supports, the product can be fixed with with refractory adhesive or held in place with mechanical fasteners.
• For the thermal protection of chimneys with or without inserts, please comply with the regulations in force in consult NF DTU 24.2.1, 24.2.2 and 24.2.3.

Storage:

• Store in a dry place.
• At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 10 years.

Observations:

• When first used, fumes may be generated by the evaporation of the cellulose binder. These fumes do not affect the insulating properties of the product. On the other hand, they may stain adjacent surfaces. In the event that these fumes prove to be troublesome, we recommend a gradual rise in temperature in order to limit their emission
• In the case of heating appliances, the nome indicates that it must be sufficiently ventilated so as not to overheat its environment. In the same way, it is asked to respect the implantation provided by the manufacturer of the device. We therefore advise you to leave an air gap of a few centimetres between the insulating plate and the heat source
