One-component polyurethane foam, polymerizing on contact with humidity.
Fire-retardant caulking (vertical wall - vertical or horizontal joint): fire-resistance rating : fire-retardant up to 2 hours on static and symmetrical joints.
All the applications of standard polyurethane expanding foam (caulking, thermal and sound insulation, pipe insulation and wedging, filling cavities and recesses).
Product benefits:
Fire-resistance rating up to 2 hours. High expansion: 2 to 3 times its initial volume.
Can be shaped after 45 min. Use upside down
No gun required
Application :
Preparation:
Use appropriate gloves and protect surrounding surfaces (once cured, foam can only be removed mechanically).
The aerosol must be kept at a temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
Work surfaces must be clean and free of grease. Moisten them to obtain a foam with a homogeneous structure and faster curing.
Instructions for use :
Remove cap and attach extruder nozzle to valve.
Turn the aerosol upside down and shake vigorously about 30 times before use.
Apply foam while holding can upside down.
Fill cavities partially, as the foam expands several times its initial volume. Once injected , the foam must always have at least one side in contact with the ambient air. In the case of deep cavities , proceed by successive injections, spaced approximately 1 to 2 hours apart, over 5 cm at a time and moistening in between .
Consumption :
Filling capacity in free expansion: 30 l for 700 ml
Cleaning equipment :
After use, disassemble the extruder nozzle and thoroughly clean all parts (valve, nozzle and cannula) with polyurethane foam cleaner. Tools and soiled surfaces can also be cleaned with the same product or, failing that, with acetone.
Storage :
Store at +20°C.
At 20°C, the product has a shelf life of 9 monthsin its original closed packaging, protected from humidity and stored vertically.
Remarks :
It is the user's responsibility to check that his application complies with the conditions described in the fire-resistance classification report .
