FLEX-SEAL Plus multi-material couplings® SC are "straight" or symmetrical fittings with a central stainless steel shear strip.
Available from DN 50 to DN 600 (and beyond on request with the LC and XLC), FLEX-SEAL Plus® SC is used to assemble and repair pipes of different materials and diameters, for sewage or gravity drainage networks.
FLEX-SEAL Plus® SC has two main features:
- TOX® = The stainless steel parts are assembled by clinching and not welded to optimize their durability;
- The Clip-In = a profiled EPDM system to hold the clamping bands in place during transport and installation of the fittings.
- Made of EPDM and stainless steel 304 (with options: NBR, stainless steel 316), they are very resistant and have a life expectancy at least equal to that of the pipes.
They are resistant to :
- a maximum pressure of 1.5 bar and accept an angular deviation of up to 3° (consult us)
- a shear force (expressed in Newton) up to 25 times the DN (in mm).
FLEX-SEAL Plus fittings® SC can be installed inside or outside buildings and can be buried or installed overhead. A simple screwdriver is required to install them.
