Flex Seal Plus SC multi-material fittings are "straight" or symmetrical fittings with a central stainless steel shear strip. Flex Seal Plus SC is used to join and repair pipes of different materials and diameters forsanitation orgravity drainage. Flex Seal Plus SC has two main features: - the TOX = The stainless steel parts are assembled by clinching and not welded to optimize their durability; - the Clip-In = A profiled EPDM system keeps the clamping bands in place during transport and installation of the fittings. Flex-Seal Plus fittings are the first and only multi-material fittings to feature a CE marking ETA 09/0248. They are also certified CSTB. In EPDM and stainless steel 304, they are very resistant and have a life span at least equal to that of the pipes. They can withstand a maximum pressure of 1.5 barThese pipes can accept an angular deviation of up to 3° (consult us) and resist a shearing force (expressed in Newton) of up to 25 times the DN (in mm). Flex Seal Plus SC fittings can be installed inside or outside buildings and can be buried or installed overhead. A simple screwdriver is required to install them. |
